GOGO LIIKUNTAKESKUS OY | Membership Agreement — Terms and Conditions

Last edited: 1 June 2026

Agreement structure

These terms form the general terms of the agreement between the member and GOGO Liikuntakeskus Oy (hereinafter ”GOGO”). The specific content of the membership chosen by the member — including the membership name, price, contract period, scope of access, locations and any time-of-day restrictions — is determined by the member’s order confirmation and the price list in force at the relevant time. Detailed rules concerning the use of the gym are set out in GOGO’s separate gym rules document, which is available at the locations and at www.gogo.fi.

1. Formation of the Agreement, Age Limit and Initial Fees

1.1 Formation of the Agreement

The membership agreement is formed and becomes binding on both parties when the member has (i) accepted these terms, (ii) paid the agreed initial fees and (iii) received an order confirmation from GOGO. Formation of the agreement requires all three conditions to be met.

1.2 Age Limit and Minors

Use of GOGO’s services generally requires a minimum age of 15.

GOGO Junior membership is intended for young people aged 12–14. A Junior member may train at GOGO’s premises only together with a guardian who holds a valid membership and who must be physically present throughout the entire training session. The guardian is responsible for the Junior member’s safety, guidance and compliance with the rules on the premises.

Membership of a person under 18 and the related payment agreement is always entered into by the guardian in their own name. The guardian is fully and primarily liable for the minor’s membership fees and for ensuring that the minor complies with all gym rules and these terms.

1.3 Initial Fees and Commencement of Access

The right to use the membership begins once the following payments have been made:

  • The agreed enrolment fee
  • The training fee for the current month or its pro-rata share
  • The training fee for the next full calendar month

Membership fees, campaign payments or payments made with exercise vouchers paid in advance are not refunded in cash, unless otherwise required under the right of cancellation in section 1.4 or by mandatory legislation.

1.4 Right of Cancellation and Satisfaction Guarantee

A new member has a 10-day satisfaction guarantee starting from the date of joining. Within the satisfaction guarantee period, the member receives a refund of all initial and membership fees paid.

When joining through the online store, the member additionally has a 14-day right of cancellation under Chapter 6 of the Finnish Consumer Protection Act (38/1978), which replaces the satisfaction guarantee to the extent it is more favourable to the member.

When exercising the right of cancellation, the member must notify GOGO customer service in writing.

2. Membership Content, Right of Use and Bookings

2.1 Right of Use and Membership Types

The membership entitles the member to use GOGO’s and its partner network’s locations in accordance with the membership type chosen by the member. The specific content of the membership type — locations, services, any time-of-day restrictions and other terms — is determined by the order confirmation and the price list in force at the relevant time.

2.2 Main Services and Additional Services

The principal product of the membership is the right to use GOGO’s gym facilities and the group exercise classes included in the chosen membership type. GOGO is responsible for the proper availability of these main services.

All other services and equipment available at the locations — such as cold pools, saunas, ping-pong tables, massage chairs and similar ancillary amenities — are secondary additional services. The availability of these additional services may vary by location.

GOGO reserves the right to modify, restrict or withdraw secondary additional services from use, for example due to maintenance work, equipment upgrades or operational reasons. Such a change does not constitute a defect in the service and does not entitle the member to a price reduction or compensation, unless the change lasts continuously for more than 14 days and concerns a service material to the member, in which case section 7 applies.

2.3 Right to Book Group Exercise Classes

A valid membership grants the right to book group exercise classes in accordance with the practices defined by GOGO. Trial users and visitors do not have booking rights. GOGO reserves the right to change the class programme and schedules.

2.4 Family Membership

Members of the same family may join under a family membership, in which case the family members’ membership fees are charged from the principal member. The principal member is responsible for the payments of all family members and for compliance with the rules. The detailed terms of family membership aredetermined by the price list in force at the relevant time.

2.5 Transfer of Membership

The membership may be transferred to another person during its validity period. The transfer must be agreed in writing with GOGO customer service in advance. GOGO confirms the transfer on terms it specifies separately. A handling fee in accordance with the price list in force at the relevant time may be charged for the transfer.

2.6 Access Credential

Access to GOGO’s premises is primarily by means of the mobile application. An alternative physical access credential is available at the price set out in the price list in force at the relevant time. The access credential is personal and may not be transferred for use by another person.

Membership is personal and the right of access applies only to the membership holder. Membership must be proven every time you enter the gym and during regular inspections during your stay. The membership holder is responsible for the person in the membership form. requires another person for the member’saccess right or the member brings people with them, has a valid right to the premises, the member’s membership will be terminated and any paid membership fees will not be refunded to the customer. In addition, the member will be charged a €200 fine in cases of misuse.

3. Payment Terms and Corporate Benefits

3.1 Payment Obligation

The member undertakes to pay the agreed membership fee for the validity period of the membership. The payment obligation does not require that the member actively uses the services.

3.2 Payment Methods and Schedule

The monthly fee is primarily charged from the payment card notified by the member as a recurring automatic debit, or as an e-invoice, on the 4th day of each month.

The member is responsible for ensuring that:

  • Payment card details are kept up to date
  • An e-invoice agreement has been made at least 30 days before the first debit
  • There are sufficient funds in the account on the due date

If the member does not have the option to use card or e-invoice debiting, an alternative payment method may be agreed separately with GOGO customer service. In that case, GOGO may charge an invoicing surcharge in accordance with the price list in force at the relevant time. Delays caused by technical debitingproblems do not release the member from the payment obligation.

3.3 Prepayment

The member may, if they wish, pay membership fees in advance in order to obtain any campaign or payment-method benefit. Payments made in advance are not refunded in cash even if the membership is terminated before the end of the paid period. The paid right of use, however, remains in force for the remainingprepaid period.

3.4 Payment Delays and Debt Collection

If a payment cannot be debited by the due date, GOGO will send a payment reminder. GOGO has the right to:

  • Charge reminder and debt-collection costs and statutory interest on late payments in accordance with legislation
  • Suspend the member’s right of use when payments are more than 14 days overdue
  • Transfer the receivable to a debt-collection agency
  • Terminate the agreement for repeated or prolonged payment delays

3.5 Corporate Benefits

If a corporate benefit offered by the employer is cancelled or ends, the membership fee will thereafter be charged in full from the member. It is the member’s responsibility to notify GOGO of the termination of the corporate benefit without delay.

4. Term of the Agreement and Termination

4.1 Right of Termination and Method

Membership must be terminated in writing — by email or via the electronic service channel separately designated by GOGO — by the last day of the month. Oral terminations are not accepted. The notice period is one (1) calendar month: the membership fee for the following month is charged and the right of usecontinues to the end of that month. GOGO sends written confirmation of the termination received.

Example of the notice period

If a member terminates their membership on 30 June, the July membership fee is still charged and the membership ends on 31 July. If a member terminates on 1 July, the July and August membership fees are charged and the membership ends on 31 August.

4.2 Open-Ended Membership

An open-ended membership may be terminated at any time with the one-calendar-month notice period in accordance with section 4.1.

4.3 Fixed-Term Membership

A member with a fixed-term membership is obliged to pay at least the number of consecutive monthly fees corresponding to the contract period. The length of the contract period and other terms are determined by the order confirmation. At the end of the contract period, the agreement continues automatically as open-ended with the notice period set out in section 4.1.

If the member terminates a fixed-term agreement before the end of the contract period without an acceptable reason under section 4.4, the member is obliged to pay:

  • Repayment of the enrolment fee paid or any other campaign benefit already enjoyed
  • The difference between the campaign-priced and full-priced months already used

GOGO provides the member with a calculation before termination so that the member can assess the costs in advance.

4.4 Termination in Exceptional Circumstances (Social Impediment to Performance)

A fixed-term agreement may be terminated without additional costs before the end of the contract period if the member experiences a sudden and serious change in life circumstances, such as:

  • Long-term illness or incapacity for work (medical certificate of at least 3 months)
  • Unemployment (certificate from the TE Office or employment authority)
  • Permanent relocation to a place where GOGO does not operate (official notice of change of address)

The exception always requires official and reliable documentary evidence. Termination takes effect at the end of the month following receipt of the certificate.

5. Pausing the Membership (Freeze)

The membership may be frozen against official documentary evidence in the following situations:

  • Pregnancy
  • Military service
  • A long-term work assignment in another location
  • Illness: we credit a continuous sick leave of at least 14 days against a medical certificate

A pause always extends the term of a fixed-term agreement by the length of the pause. A pause must be notified to GOGO customer service in writing in advance, and GOGO confirms the pause in writing. The pause takes effect from the date stated in the confirmation. Retroactive pausing is not granted without a special reason.

6. Safety and Liabilities

6.1 Member’s Own Responsibility

Exercise on GOGO’s premises takes place at the member’s own risk. The member is responsible for ensuring that they are in sufficient physical and mental condition to use the services. GOGO’s staff are not obliged to assess the member’s state of health or fitness to train.

6.2 Gym Rules

The member undertakes to comply with GOGO’s gym rules, which are available at the locations and at www.gogo.fi. The gym rules include, among other things, provisions on the use of the premises, opening hours, prohibitions on external coaching activities, and on children spending time on the premises. Breach of the gym rules may lead to a warning or to immediate termination of the membership, depending on the seriousness of the breach.

6.3 Misuse of the Access Credential

Membership and access rights are strictly personal. Lending the access credential or letting an outside person into GOGO’s premises is prohibited. Misuse incurs an inspection fee in accordance with the price list in force at the relevant time, covering the actual costs arising from investigating the misuse and from access control. In the event of repeated or serious misuse, GOGO has the right to terminate the membership immediately. GOGO uses camera surveillance to detect misuse.

6.4 GOGO’s Limitation of Liability

GOGO is not liable for the loss of or damage to the member’s personal property on the gym’s premises. Members are recommended to use lockable storage lockers.

GOGO is not liable for damage caused by:

  • The member’s own negligence or actions contrary to the rules
  • Force majeure
  • Malfunctions in the services of third parties

6.5 Zero Tolerance

GOGO has an absolute zero-tolerance policy regarding doping substances and illegal narcotics. The use, possession or distribution of such substances on GOGO’s premises results in immediate termination of the agreement without a notice period and possibly a criminal report.

GOGO also reserves the right to terminate the membership immediately on grounds of repeated or serious disruptive behaviour, deliberate vandalism, or conduct endangering the safety of other members or staff.

7. Changes to Terms and Prices

GOGO reserves the right to change membership fee prices and these terms. Changes may be based, for example, on changes in cost indices, on legislation or on business reasons.

Material changes to terms or price increases are notified to the member personally at least 30 days before the change takes effect. The notice is delivered by email to the address provided by the member and, in addition, possibly by other means (e.g. via the application). An in-app notification alone is not sufficient.

Having received the notice, the member has the right to terminate the agreement to end before the new terms or prices take effect, without the normal notice period. If the member continues to use the service after the new terms come into force, the new terms are deemed accepted. The member is responsible for keeping their contact details up to date so that notices reach them.

8. Processing of Personal Data and Camera Surveillance

The member accepts that personal data related to the membership is stored in GOGO’s customer register for the purpose of managing the membership relationship and providing information, in accordance with the privacy notice in force at the relevant time. GOGO complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and national data protection legislation.

Personal data is not disclosed to third parties without the member’s consent, unless legislation or an obligation imposed by an authority so requires.

GOGO’s premises are equipped with recording camera surveillance for safety reasons and to prevent misuse. To ensure access control, a facial image of the member may be stored in the customer system. The member has the right to inspect data concerning themselves and to request its correction in accordance withthe privacy notice.

9. One-time user

The one-time visitor accepts that GOGO is not responsible for personal injuries that occur during their stay at the center. GOGO is also not responsible for lost or broken personal property. The visitor is also prepared to follow the instructions and regulations issued by GOGO and to comply with the valid group exerciseand gym etiquette. The one-time visitor takes responsibility for himself and is in such a physical and mental condition that he can use GOGO’s services.
